These rundle stone walls are a renovation project with Boulderworks Ltd. (www.boulderworks.ca), designed by Jasper Browning, with Peter Kornacki as project foreman.
Rundle ashlar, with square-cut stone, was already in place on the south and east aspects of the house at the start of the project.
The north and west aspects of the house are completely wrapped in new brown rundle ashlar to match the existing stone.
On the west aspect, dual jack arches are installed to support the masonry above the garage doors. A pre-existing dormer, above the garage doors, is supported by corbeled masonry and wrapped in rundle stone.
