This is a project carried out for BC Parks at the entrance to the Botanical Beach at Juan de Fuca Provincial Park. The low wall of river stone, with dry pack joints, provides a contrasting texture to the wooden board displaying the name of the park.
The stone is capped with a continuous sandstone slab. The variation in level of the slab surface provides for an attractive convergence of the stone base and the carved wood display.
