This renovated fireplace consists of the original brick restored to a good condition, with contrasting basalt extending to the corners.
The top three courses are corbeled under the mantel to show off the feature wood carving by Godfrey Stephens.
The stove sits on a sandstone hearth. An arch with a basalt keystone supports the masonry above the stove.
