This outdoor oven is constructed of brick, interspersed with cut basalt stones.
The lower part of the structure encloses a wood storage box with a large concrete counter. The concrete for the counter was poured in place, dyed black and polished. The floor of the wood box is laid with sandstone.
The oven door is recycled from a wood stove and custom designed for this oven.
The custom door is surrounded by a segmented brick arch with a basalt keystone.
The chimney is capped with sandstone. A Barred Owl, carved from Indiana limestone, roosts on top of the chimney, completing the outdoor setting.
